Interactive Sri Yantra This java applet allows you to change the shape of the Sri Yantra by moving one or more of the five key lines. You will need to have Java installed to see the geometry. Click here if you need to install free Java. Use any of the five buttons on the lower right to start animating a key line. Pressing the button again will stop the animation. You can animate more than one line at a time. Try it it's fun. This way you can shape the Sri Yantra any way you want. Concurrency: The two small red triangles that appear in the figure as you animate it, indicate the amount of error in the figure. This extra triangle should be made as small as possible to acheive concurrency. The exact amount of error can be seen on the lower left from the number at the right of concurrency. The smaller the better. Concentricity: This indicates how centered the figure is. It is the difference between the center of the outer circle (red cross) and the center of the innermost triangle (green cross). The smaller the better. Equilaterality: This indicates the angle of the innermost triangle. Equilaterality (maximum symmetry) is reached when this angle equals 60 degrees.
